Abstract

This article examines the impact of Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) on 21st-century education, highlighting their benefits and challenges. The research discusses how these immersive technologies enhance students' understanding of complex concepts, motivation, and academic performance through comparative studies across various educational levels. However, implementation faces economic and technical barriers, such as the cost of equipment and the lack of teacher training. The study concludes that, despite these challenges, integrating AR and VR can significantly transform teaching and learning methods, provided that strategies are adopted to overcome existing limitations.
