Design and implementation of an ojs systems migration process in the scientific journal Riqchary

Abstract
This article details the migration process of the Riqchary journal from the National University Micaela Bastidas of Apurímac, transitioning from OJS 3.3 to 3.4. Utilizing the agile Scrum methodology, the project addressed the need to enhance the system's performance, security, and functionality. The migration was structured into five sprints, achieving a successful transfer of 100% of articles and journal issues, and 98% of users. The update resulted in faster load times and improved security through SSL/TLS encryption. The results strengthen Riqchary's position as a reliable platform, highlighting the usefulness of Scrum in overcoming technical challenges. This study provides a valuable framework for future technological migrations in the academic field.
