Emotional violence among primary school students at home during the pandemic, in Quiquijana, Cusco, 2021

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of emotional violence in primary school students within the home in the district of Quiquijana, in the department of Cusco, in the context of the pandemic, during the year 2021. The research used is of the type non-experimental, descriptive. The study sample is 35 boys and girls from the I.E.P. No. 50485 of Ttio of different grades ofthe district of Quiquijana, in which a research instrument was applied, which is the survey to determine the study variable; where the father exerts a greater degree of emotional violence on his children, with respect to the mother. In addition, 22% of fathers, compared to 27% of mothers, have never exercised emotional violence on their children; while 30% of fathers, compared to 24% of mothers, always exert emotional violence on their minor children. Therefore, it can be determined that the pandemic has generated a greater level of stress within the home, due to the factors of confinement, low economic income due to lack of work and others, typical of the world situation of COVID - 19, which very they may well be part of other research work
