Assessment of the structural factor and seismic vulnerability in houses construction located on slope near the banks of the Mariño river from Abancay city

Abstract
Results were obtained by means of vulnerability index parameters (Iv) , observation and survey sheets, photo- graphs of the different houses in estimation towards a precise analysis that can give answers and solutions to prevent fu- ture loss of human lives, currently this research is framed in the evaluation of the state of vulnerability that can worry the 44 houses in study located in the Circunvalación avenue, on the right margin in the slope on the shore of the Mariño river in the city of Abancay. The assessment of the structural factor and seismic vulnerability consisted of gathering relevant information, using the instruments mentioned above, quantifying the measurements, characteristics, situational status and level of seismic vulnerability of the houses, obtaining the results through mathematical calculations. A direct relationship was found between the structural factor and its seismic vulnerability for which the level of seismic vulnerability shows that a total of 0 % of houses have a low vulnerability, likewise a total of 46 % of houses have medium-low vulnerability, also a total of 36 % of houses have medium-high vulnerability and 18 % of houses have a high seismic vulnerability that requires immediate intervention.
