A Collaborative Requirements Tool Based on SMS Notifications for Agile Software Projects

Abstract
Requirements tracking has been identified as a key problem affecting project success rates in software development organizations. Communicating and monitoring requirements is a difficult task for software project members, especially the team leader. Many requirements monitoring practices are disregarded, which is a reason for project failure. This article presents the results of a software prototype developed for requirements tracking based on agile practices. The proposal was evaluated by software developers, who found that the average time to verify requirements information via SMS was 9.5 seconds, which is entirely acceptable
