Main Article Content
Abstract
This project presents the development of the mobile application ApuGo, designed to enhance the tourist experience in Abancay and Apurímac by providing real-time updated information about tourist attractions, events, and available services. The main objective was to create an accessible and scalable platform that improves navigation, usability, and transparency in managing tourist information. The methodology applied was an agile development approach using the Scrum framework and technologies such as Django for the backend. Quality tests were conducted through surveys with local users to evaluate dimensions of navigability, usability, accessibility, interoperability, and performance. The results showed high satisfaction in terms of performance (89%) and navigability (88%), although areas for improvement were identified in accessibility (60%) and interoperability (63%). The conclusions highlight ApuGo’s potential to facilitate access to tourist information, improve the visitor experience, and contribute to local economic development. Additionally, the need to optimize accessibility and compatibility with other tourist platforms in future versions was emphasized to expand its regional and national impact.
