Resumen
The Covid-19 pandemic highlighted the challenges and vulnerabilities that humans face in their daily lives, as well as the importance of ICTs. The present study was aimed at establishing the association between the use of digital tools and effective communication in remote teaching due to the covid-19 pandemic. The problem description was carried out through the deductive method. The usefulness of the research lies in deepening the information and strengthening the co-knowledge. The characterization of the facts and their components was performed through the descriptive and correlational level to measure the association between the two variables. There was no intentional manipulation of the variables; data collection was carried out at a single moment. The contrast of the hypothesis was carried out through the nonparametric test using as input the data collected through the survey and the instrument. The sample was directed to 25 teachers from the Peruvian territory. The results showed that there is a relationship between both study variables; that is, as the use of digital tools increases, effective communication also has the same behavior. It was determined with Spearman's rho coefficient, where 41.9% of association was obtained. Google Classroon, WhatsApp, Power Point, Google Form and Google Meet were the most used platforms in remote teaching. The strengthening of digital competencies and the provision of open source technologies is fundamental to improve education.
