Mobile application for book exchange at the Academic Professional School of Computer Engineering and Systems
Main Article Content
Abstract
The cost of acquiring original textbooks during university studies in the Apurímac region of Peru is very high. These books make quality academic information more accessible within the School of Computer Engineering and Systems (EAPIIS) at the National University Micaela Bastidas of Apurímac. Students who manage to acquire a new book with great effort often abandon it after completing a semester, creating the need to purchase new books for the following semester. This research describes the results of a mobile application implemented to increase the exchange of used books among EAPIIS students and promote book reuse. The results of the research application showed that, based on the average of 12 exchanges before using the application, the average increased to 16.5 after its implementation, representing a 72.72% increase.
